Souper Bowl of Caring

Score a Touchdown Against Food Insecurity

Nearly 20 percent of your neighbors in the metro
area aren’t sure where their next meal is coming from.
That’s why The Franciscan Center of Baltimore is
once again joining forces with the Souper Bowl of Caring,
a national organization committed to hunger relief and
building awareness of the challenges so many face.
Food is the foundation on which everything else—
good health, housing, employment, life—is built. Since
1968, the Center has served the homeless and working
poor: first with a good meal, then with the tools to take
the next steps toward self-sufficiency.
Today, we’re introducing “Elevated Soups”—delicious,
nutritious soups made in our kitchen using only the finest
produce from farms in the city and nearby counties.
We hope you’ll enjoy it as much as our guests do!

Everyone deserves great soup.

This year we are partnering with a select group of churches and schools. If you are interested in getting involved next year please contact Angela Hall at ahall@fcbmore.org.
