In partnership with the Maryland Food Bank, the Franciscan Center has distributed tens of thousands of pounds of fresh food to families and individuals at our Food Distribution Events held six times a year.
Similar to a Farmer’s Market, our Food Distribution Events include a variety of fresh produce that varies depending on the time of year. The warmer months can include corn, green beans, squash and watermelon. During the colder months, canned goods and other non-perishable foods are also available.
Food distribution events are held on Saturday mornings in Febuary, April, June, August, October and December. Please call or visit the center to find out when the next event is scheduled to take place.
